What is W.A.V.E.? (And why do you want to catch it?)


Wave is an acronym that stands for WORSHIP, ADORATION, VENERATION, and EXALTATION. Hopefully in the next few posts we can discuss these in greater detail. This acronym is the name our our praise band (for lack of a better term) at Triad Christian Fellowship. We are a non-denomination church that started about 7 years ago. Our purpose is to bring people into a greater relationship with Jesus Christ - especially if they never have had a personal relationship with Him, as well as foster and grow christians in their relationships with each other.

So here we are - starting a blog. I am amazed at how much I dislike this. However, I understand the necessity, well rather the exercise of having a blog. An online, personal journey shared with millions of web-users. My reasons for disliking blogging are varied and as I journey through this endeavor, may change - will change! My personal thoughts are that blogs must be read as a whole, as an ongoing commentary and as dynamic, changing entities that reflect the dynamic, changing nature of their authors. So welcome to our journey.
